Hai Robotics Highlights from the PolyU Event
Hai Robotics highlights from the "Making Impact with Innovation AI & Robotics Technologies" event hosted by The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
Hai Robotics highlights from the "Making Impact with Innovation AI & Robotics Technologies" event hosted by The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Today, our COO and Co-founder, Mr. Bing Fang delivered a speech at the event. Here he shared his thoughts and experience on Hai Robotics and PolyU’s IC collaboration to enhance robotic education, foster co-creation and innovation.

Throughout the event Mr Bing Fang also participated in the fireside chat, alongside Professor Lu Chao, Chair Professor of Fiber Optics, EIE Department. During the fireside chat, he shared some insights into navigating the challenges and opportunities faced during the start-up to unicorn journey. The media and students were very involved and there was an exchanged of many interesting questions and answers.

After the insightful presentations and fireside chat, there was a demonstration of the Hai Robotics ACR. Not only did the media and guests get to see our robots in action, but they also got to experience a realistic warehouse environment with our ACRs. Our guests didn’t have to take a trip to the Greater Bay Area, but rather the warehouse was brought to them. This was all made possible in PolyU’s large-scale 6-sided Cave Automatic Virtual Environment (CAVE).
Many thanks to Ir Dr. Alex Choy, Senior Engineering Manager and team for supporting the VR video production.
Thank you to Mr. Johnathan Lee, Engineering Manager and our Hai Robotics team for the demonstration.

We had an amazing time connecting with leaders of the 3PL, Supply Chain, Retail & Grocery leaders, along with passionate entrepreneurs to exchange ideas on reimagining the future of robotics and warehouse automation solutions.
Many thanks to the following departments for organising the event and special arrangements:
Poly U Corporate and Public Affairs Office (CPA)
Poly U Knowledge Transfer and Entrepreneurship Office (KTEO)
PolyU Industrial Centre team
Last but not least, thank you to PolyU for the invitation, our customers and media who supported the event. We hope to connect and see you again at future events!
