Sr. Solutions Engineer

Duties:
Design and support data-driven warehouse automation solutions by analyzing customer requirements, developing warehouse layouts and process designs, integrating robotic and material handling systems, and providing technical support throughout the project lifecycle.
Detailed Duties:
- Analyze customer operational data and requirements to design warehouse automation systems, including layout planning, process optimization, and capacity modeling.
- Develop automation designs using technologies such as conveyors, sorters, Automated Case-handling Mobile Robots (ACRs), Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs), and Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS).
- Collaborate with sales, mechanical, and software engineering teams to create technically feasible and cost-effective solutions.
- Integrate warehouse automation systems with warehouse management and control software (WMS, WCS, WES).
- Provide technical support during pre-sales and project execution, including preparing proposals, presentations, and addressing client inquiries.
- Identify potential design risks or inefficiencies and propose engineering improvements.
- Conduct research on emerging automation technologies to enhance solution design and competitiveness.
Requirements:
- Minimum Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Robotics, or a closely related field.
- 24 months of experience designing and supporting the manufacturing of conveyors and sorter system components.
- Knowledge of robots and material handling automation such as AGVs and pallet conveyor ASRS.
- Familiar with WMS, WCS, or WES software integration.
- Ability to use 3PL, SI, and warehouse automation equipment and data analysis software.
- Up to 15% of domestic travel.
