Sr. Solutions Engineer

Duties:

Design and support data-driven warehouse automation solutions by analyzing customer requirements, developing warehouse layouts and process designs, integrating robotic and material handling systems, and providing technical support throughout the project lifecycle.

 


 

Detailed Duties:

  1. Analyze customer operational data and requirements to design warehouse automation systems, including layout planning, process optimization, and capacity modeling.
  1. Develop automation designs using technologies such as conveyors, sorters, Automated Case-handling Mobile Robots (ACRs), Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs), and Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS).
  1. Collaborate with sales, mechanical, and software engineering teams to create technically feasible and cost-effective solutions.
  1. Integrate warehouse automation systems with warehouse management and control software (WMS, WCS, WES).
  1. Provide technical support during pre-sales and project execution, including preparing proposals, presentations, and addressing client inquiries.
  1. Identify potential design risks or inefficiencies and propose engineering improvements.
  1. Conduct research on emerging automation technologies to enhance solution design and competitiveness.

 


 

Requirements:

  1. Minimum Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Robotics, or a closely related field.
  1. 24 months of experience designing and supporting the manufacturing of conveyors and sorter system components.
  1. Knowledge of robots and material handling automation such as AGVs and pallet conveyor ASRS.
  1. Familiar with WMS, WCS, or WES software integration.
  1. Ability to use 3PL, SI, and warehouse automation equipment and data analysis software.
  1. Up to 15% of domestic travel.
