St. Luke’s
St. Luke’s is a leading healthcare provider focused on delivering high-quality patient care across its network of hospitals and facilities. As demand for speed, reliability, and cost control in healthcare supply chains increased, St. Luke’s recognized the need to take ownership of its distribution operations.
Rather than relying entirely on third-party logistics providers, the organization set out to build its own Consolidated Services Center from the ground up without prior warehouse or automation experience. This greenfield project required not only the right technology, but the right partners to guide design, implementation, and long-term success.
By partnering with Hai Robotics and Equipment Depot, St. Luke’s was able to create a purpose-built, automated warehouse designed to improve control, increase speed, reduce costs, and ultimately better serve caregivers and patients.
The Challenge
St. Luke’s Health System wasn’t optimizing an existing warehouse, it was starting from zero.

The Approach

Inside a 14,000 sq. ft. footprint, the system maximizes vertical space to deliver over 18,000 storage locations.
Powered by 28 Autonomous Case-handling Mobile Robots (ACRs), the solution brings inventory directly to operators, reducing travel, simplifying workflows, and improving efficiency from day one.
