Vision Sensor

A sensor that calculates the feature volume (area, center of gravity, length, position, etc.) of the object by processing the images captured by the camera and then outputs data and judgment results.

Workstation

An area in the warehouse, used for inbound, outbound, picking and other operations. It is generally equipped with computer, scanning gun and other supporting equipment.

Warehouse Automation

The use of technology, machinery, and systems to automate and optimize various warehouse operations and processes, such as inventory management, order fulfillment, and material handling.

Wave Picking

Wave picking is a method where orders are grouped into waves or batches based on specific criteria such as location or product type. Instead of picking orders one by one, multiple orders within a wave are picked simultaneously to increase efficiency.

Zone Picking

Zone picking divides the warehouse into specific zones or areas, and each picker is assigned to a particular zone. Pickers are responsible for picking items only from their designated zones, and the picked items are later consolidated to complete the order. This method can increase efficiency by reducing travel time within the warehouse.
