The Smart Logistics Business Unit of LG CNS in South Korea has signed a strategic agreement with HAI ROBOTICS, a leader in Autonomous Case-handling Robotics (ACR).
The agreement seeks for new opportunities to enable automation of warehouse operations in South Korea. The Korean market has seen an increase in automation investment activity, which is attributable, in part, to the growing e-commerce industry. By automating warehouse operations based on the latest robotics technology, fast improvements in operational efficiency can arrive hand in hand and with reductions in operational errors, thereby greatly improving overall productivity with a faster return on investment.
“We are very excited about our strategic partnership with HAI ROBOTICS. LG CNS believes the proven robotic systems from HAI will make it possible to automate many new warehouse operations in South Korea” said Mr. Chang-kook Myoung, Business Team Leader of LG CNS.
Chen Yuqi, CEO of HAI ROBOTICS, added: “In this industry it is important to integrate resources and create strong alliances with the right partners. Through LG CNS we have an exceptionally strong partner in Korea, and our collaboration will benefit many warehouse operations within the country, creating a win-win for all.”
LG CNS provides comprehensive IT services such as consulting, system building and operation, and outsourcing to local and international customers based on understanding of various industries and Information Technology expertise.
